Storage companies offer a new service with portable storage units which offer transportable storage facilities for home and business use. A storage unit is delivered to the clients location where they load and pack their items to be stored. 

Self storage companies operate in many locations but are usually located in warehouses or industrial areas where space is cheaper. Self storage facilities are usually open 24hours and available to the storage client at any time.

Storage facilities are available in many sizes from as small as 5 feet by 5 feet and up to 1000's of square feet. Storage units are available with air conditioning for storage of temperature controlled items. 

Portable storage containers were developed to supply storage services to city dwellers in need of additional space where there was a lack of affordable storage space.

Portable storage units are delivered to a a clients location for them to load and pack with their personal effects or household goods. Portable storage units are then picked up by the storage company and taken to a warehouse for long term storage.
